It looks that youthful Rui Hachimura has caught LeBron James’s work ethic and training regiment.
The Japanese-American is a teammate of the renowned Lakers player. Of course, he aspires to be LeBron James’ starting small forward someday. Rui Hachimura is said to be exercising alongside LeBron James as the Lakers prepare for the next season. Few NBA players get the chance to learn from one of the game’s all-time greats. Hachimura absorbs as much information as he can, like a sponge.
According to ESPN, Rui altered his work schedule so that he could pay a visit to James at the El Segundo Lakers’ practice facilities. The Lakers advanced to the Western Conference finals last season before being severely crushed by the Denver Nuggets. Rui Hachimura played in 33 games, averaging 9.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game. According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN: “A guy who LeBron’s already rubbed off on, Rui Hachimura has been changing up his practice schedule leading up to the season and meeting LeBron at the gym in El Segundo for 7 a.m. workouts.”
The success of the Lakers this season is dependent on the play of their proven All-Stars as well as the development of emerging talent like as Rui Hachimura. Austin Reaves’ experience at the FIBA World Cup should also help him next season. If the current All-Stars are to feel confident in their bench depth, those two developing stars must improve. Even while reaching the Western Conference Finals the previous year was a big accomplishment, the competition this year is much tougher. This season, the Nuggets, Warriors, Clippers, Suns, and Dallas Mavericks are just a few of the clubs that will not be taking any chances. Are you as excited as we are for the start of the new NBA season?
